The Association of Fundraising Processionals Tampa Bay Chapter (AFP) is honored to recognize Debra Golinski with the J. Lloyd Horton Lifetime Achievement Award. This award honors Lloyd Horton's legacy with an award to a deserving member that demonstrates a dedication to the profession of philanthropy.

Debra has been a dedicated member of AFP for fourteen years and one of the original charter members of AFP Nature Coast Chapter. She has held every position in the Nature Coast Chapter prior to the merger with AFP Tampa Bay.

Debra has worked for several great companies over the years such as John Hancock Insurance, CIBRO Oil, Nielsen Media, and Federal Government Literacy Program (a division of the domestic Peace Corp).  She is the current President/CEO with Sertoma Speech & Hearing Foundation of Florida Inc. She has worked for Sertoma as the Development Officer since 2002 and assumed the role of President in 2015. She has taken the organization from a $200,000 annual budget to $7 million in eight years at the helm.

Debra’s true passion is working for Sertoma Speech and Hearing Foundation. Sertoma stands for Service to Mankind and Debra shares that her team makes a difference every day in the lives of the people they serve.

One colleague states, “Mrs. Golinski is a mentor to both myself and the other individuals she works with in regards to fundraising, nonprofit management, and more. Mrs. Golinski is someone I view as someone who I can go to for advice, and she inspires me to do more for our mission each and every day.”

Debra has been an active member and volunteer in her community for over twenty years. She is a 20-year member of Community Service Counsel of West Pasco; 8- year member of the Rotary Club of New Port Richey; and a 3-year member of the board of the Healthy Start Coalition of Pasco County. Debra supports Pure Water for the World and participated in the mission trip to Honduras to install drinking water filters in underserved communities.
