Speaker Bios 

Devin Dominguez, CFRE

Devin is a third generation Tampa native (and a fifth generation Floridian). She has worked in the cultural sector for more than two decades including tenures in art and history museums, historic sites, libraries, orchestras, theatres, and public media.  Her undergraduate studies were in Humanities at the University of Central Florida and her graduate studies were in Arts Administration at Savannah College of Art and Design.  Devin is a Certified Fundraising Professional (CFRE) and holds graduate certificates in Non-Profit Management and Fundraising & Development from Rollins College. Throughout her career, Devin has worked in programming and education but flourished in fundraising and advocacy roles. She has raised over $40M for arts and cultural organizations, was part of the leadership team that worked with the National Parks Service to designate the Maitland Art Center a National Historic Landmark, and has worked extensively on state-wide and national cultural policy initiatives with the Florida Cultural Alliance and the Americans for the Arts. She is currently leading Tampa Theatre through a $50M capital and endowment campaign to fully restore the theatre for its centennial in 2026 and thrive in its next century of service. 

Jaree Ervin, MA, CNP, CFRE

Jaree currently serves as the Chief Development Officer for the University Area CDC, whose mission is children, family development, crime prevention and commerce growth. Its primary focus is the redevelopment and sustainability at risk areas surrounding the Tampa campus of the University of South Florida. In her role, she is responsible for generating philanthropic revenue for the organization, as well as, developing relationship and partnerships with corporations, foundations, individuals and local/state government. She also directs fundraising and philanthropic strategies including events, grants, sponsorships and donations.

As a philanthropic strategist, Jaree Ervin directs development strategies and donor services activities for nonprofit organizations. In addition to working with prospective donors to promote partnering to fulfill mission, Jaree works closely with corporations, foundations, and individuals to empower the community through philanthropy.

Jaree holds a Masters of Philanthropic Studies and is certified in Fund Raising Management from the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.  She is certified in Nonprofit Management from the Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs.  Additionally, she is certified nationally through the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance as a Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) and received her global accreditation as a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) through CFRE International. Certifications in Post-Crisis Leadership, Post-Crisis Hospitality Management and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business.

Jaree serves on the board of directors for Leadership Hillsborough, Class Liaison Leadership Tampa, former board chair Temple Terrace Uptown Chamber of Commerce, member of the AFP Suncoast, Leadership Hillsborough Alumni Class 2018-2019, Member of Leadership Tampa 2023.  Additionally, Member Urban League Hillsborough County, previous mentor Nonprofit Leadership Center Advancing Racial Equity on Nonprofit Boards, Alumni Speaker for Lilly Family School of Philanthropy Indiana University.

Before moving to Florida, Ms. Ervin held executive positions in nonprofit organizations, including serving as Vice President of Development for the Indianapolis Urban League. Furthermore, Jaree served as a consultant and Director of Development for the Indiana Network for Higher Education Ministries. Before dedicating her career to impacting individuals, organizations, corporations and foundations through the transformational gift of philanthropy, she held positions as a consumer and business sales consultant.

She has 3 adult children, 2 daughters in love, and 3 grandchildren. She enjoys reading, roller skating and spending quality time with friends and family. Jaree is a native Indiana Hoosier living in Tampa and loving it.

Ellen O’Neill

Ellen is a Major Gift Officer with the RMHC family. She joined the team in November of 2022. In her role she cultivates prospect lists and develops donor outreach campaigns and stewardship programs. And is currently working on 9.5-million-dollar capital campaign to build a new house in Tampa. She has also been a volunteer for Ronald McDonald House charities since 2010, where she served on the fundraising and operations committees.

She previously worked in the events arena for many years as a sales and development manager where she delivered annual revenues of over $400,000. She was also responsible for marketing and new business development in North America and Europe.

Ellen and her family have lived in Tampa since 2007. She has 2 recently married daughters that live in the area as well. Family is everything to her and she also enjoys sports (all the home teams!) and plays tennis, pickleball and loves to walk on Bayshore Blvd. Loves gardening, music and supporting the local economy at restaurants and boutiques!

Tracy Vanderneck, MSM, CFRE

Tracy Vanderneck, MSM, CFRE, is the president of Phil-Com where she works with nonprofit organizations around the globe to improve their fundraising and board governance. She helps organizations DO GOOD THE RIGHT WAY™.

Tracy has more than twenty-five years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit leadership, and business development. She has worked on leadership teams for organizations with budgets from $1 million to $15 million, in fundraising, public relations, and volunteer recruitment.

She holds a Master of Science in Management (MSM) with a concentration in Nonprofit Leadership, a Graduate Certificate in Teaching & Learning (CTL), and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). She is an Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Master Trainer, earned a Diversity & Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from University of South Florida, and earned a Certificate of Nonprofit Board Consulting from BoardSource.

Tracy has been published in Nonprofit Pro, AP Perspectives, and Stanford Social Innovation Review (SSIR). Tracy’s articles have been used as course content and reference materials by NYU's Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, Columbia University School of Professional Studies, and the Graduate College of Marshall University. In 2024, Vanderneck authored the book The 60-Minute Guide to Building the Infrastructure for Successful Nonprofit Fundraising.
